Abstract
The requirement of field dynamic balancing is analyzed, and the maximum, uniformity and square summation of residual vibration are selected to be the optimization subobjects for generator set balancing. In order to coordinate the above three items, fuzzy mathematics theory is employed to build the multipurpose optimization function. The principle of optimization of balancing weight with particle swarm algorithm is studied. Furthermore it is applied to implement the weight optimization of power generator set. The effectiveness of the proposed method, and its´ advantageous of smaller computation volume and faster convergence speed comparing with genetic algorithm optimization, are verified by a practical balancing application of generator set.
