  • Abstract
Fluid sowing is a new way to save water against drought, to ensure the emergence rate and yield of the crop. Experiments were carried out to verify the effect of fluid sowing on the emergence rate and growing status of the seedlings. The cost increase for applying of super absorbent polymer (SAP) was analyzed, the water decreased and the cost saved were measured and calculated, the relevant yield and income increase were also measured and analyzed. Under the study conditions, the cost increase for applying SAP was 145~313 RMB/hm2, the water saved was 3.885~8.325 m3/hm2 and the relevant cost saving for water was 0.97~2.08 RMB/hm2, the income and net income may increase 900RMB/hm2 and 587~755 RMB/hm2 respectively. The analysis showed that the development and application of fluid sowing machine is of significant economic effect.
