Abstract
The calculation and research of Green´s function (pulse characteristic (PC)) of the transient diffraction problem for a smooth convex object are of interest for a number of electrodynamic and radar problems. The approach to the building and research of the PC of smooth convex ideally conducting scatterer in the bistatic case and in arbitrary orientation of the terminator plane relative to the illumination direction (in a physical optics approach) is proposed. Using the typical example of the diffraction on a triaxial ellipsoid the research of the PC peculiarities by the bistatic scattering is carried out.
