  • Abstract
    Influenced by various factors, such as radar frequency and incidence angle, the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of airport runway FOD (Foreign Object Debris) targets is very complex. In this paper, a hybrid electromagnetic algorithm is presented and applied in FOD targets electromagnetic scattering simulation. The algorithm can not only reduce the computational complexity but also ensure the simulation accuracy. Simulation results are contrasted in angle domain, frequency domain and material domain, and some analytical conclusions are draw, which is conducive to the engineering design of FOD radar.
