Contrast on city tourism between Guilin and Leshan

Cities have been hot tourist destinations in recent years. How can medium-sized cities share tourist markets in competition? Compared Leshan with Guilin, the both cities were rich in tourism resources and economic bases. Guilin has developed into a mature city tourism destination and achieved the goal as an international tourist city in last three decades. City tourism promoted city economy development. However, Leshan city tourism has experienced ups and downs; city tourism had little impact on city economy. At last, the successful experiences from Guilin city tourism were drawn and could be reference to other medium-sized cities.
