  • Abstract
    An HBT MMIC has been designed and simulated. All the RF parts of a DCS 1800 frequency synthesizer have been integrated into a single chip. Preliminary experimental results of a MHMIC VCO and a MMIC regenerative frequency divider are presented. The MHMIC VCO with its two output amplifiers operates between 1.6 and 2 GHz and the MMIC frequency divider between 1 and 6 GHz.
