Abstract
Considering the scenario of cognitive radio network (CRN) single channel opportunistic spectrum access, the minimum rate gap-based access strategy (MRG-CPA) is established which provides CR QoS guarantee and also promises interference-free to primary radios (PRs). The corresponding channel and power allocation algorithm and MAC protocol is demonstrated too. Compared with the existing strategies such as FFD, BFD and minimum rate based channel and power allocation (MR-CPA), the proposed strategy provides more useful CRN network throughput as well as improves the CR QoS guarantee.
