Abstract
In order to research on initial e-commerce trust in the introduction stage, this study developed a model to explain the influence of individual´s dispositional trust and technology trust on initial e-commerce trust belief based on previous research. Empirical data was collected from a survey of B2C e-commerce users in China to verify proposed hypotheses. The result shows that consumers´ e-commerce trust belief is positively affected by both dispositional trust and technology trust. However, dispositional trust shows no obvious influence on technology trust.
