  • Abstract
    To realize auto-mapping of a wall is meaningful for improving efficiency of surveying and mapping of real estate, which is one of the key techniques to improve management efficiency of real estate. The essence of auto-mapping of a wall is the problem of offsetting complex region. Based on VBA model of AutoCAD, auto-conversion from region to polyline is realized through combining regions, exploding object, extracting starting points, ordering points and computing bulges, and then, auto-offsetting complex region is implemented. The algorithm is applicable for auto-mapping of a wall in a system of surveying and mapping of real estate based on AutoCAD.
