Abstract
The Mixed Transmission Scheme (MTS) can effectively improve the system performance of traditional Amplify and Forward (AF) or Decode and Forward (DF) scheme. In order to make use of the direct link and the relay links in a more reasonable manner, in this paper we propose an Improved Mixed Transmit Scheme (IMTS) for typical multi-relay cooperative systems. By adopting the IMTS scheme, we examine the asymptotic outage probability in the high SNR regime. The theoretical results show that IMTS can attain full diversity order, and the resulting system performance is superior to that of the MTS scheme. Finally, simulation results are shown to validate the correctness of our theoretical analysis.
