Abstract
Multidisciplinary applications of highly energetic X-ray laser are overviewed: study of plasma hydrodynamics, interferometric microscopy, isochoric heating of thin foils, measurement of ablation rates and opacity, Thomson scattering, ablation micropatterning, and radiobiology of DNA damage.
