Abstract
A control procedure for dealing with the robust slewing maneuver of a class of new generation spacecraft is proposed. The technique is based on the adaptation of the optimal interpolation of bilinear dynamical models to the Lyapunov control approach. This is used subsequently for insuring high pointing and tracking performance of the spacecraft in the presence of induced structural disturbances and modelling uncertainties. Numerical simulations are carried out to check on the validity of the adopted control procedure, along with suggestions for further studies
