Abstract
Mid-Voltage electric distribution line is an abroad existing resource. To use it as a communication medium of the distribution automation system and the public communication network is the most economical, convenient and effective way. In this paper, the TCM method is selected to build a mid-voltage electric distribution line carrier communication system. This paper explains techniques such as TCM, equalization, reed-solomon code and interleaving used in the system, and presents the system architecture. Finally, the paper gives theoretic analysis. The conclusion of paper proves that the TCM method is fit to mid-voltage distribution line and has several advantages such as high-rate and high reliability.
