Abstract
In This paper, Discrete Wavelet based denoising for Flexibility Control of Tidal Current Generation System for maximum power tracking is proposed. As with wind power, tidal current generation system, the power of the velocity and the turbine efficiency can be expressed. Usually tidal current velocity is instantaneously changed more than wind velocity. Therefore the system of existing used the moving average filter that calculates an average. However, they have disadvantages that moving average filter difficultly deal with wanted frequency. In order to complement a few thing disadvantages this paper proposed Discrete Wavelet based denoising. Discrete Wavelet based denoising of tidal current generation system applied to low-hand frequencies, mid-band frequency, and high-band frequency are divided into three by a adjusting the gain of each band signals processing flexibility. Therefore through experiment control a profit with more flexible, safely there is a possibility of using a system. Finally, the interpolation function was designed to calculate the active power reference valve using rotor speed which measured using encoder sensor.
