Abstract
An approach to the investigation of the effect of phase jitter on spectrum moment estimation errors is discussed. The analysis is based on earlier published results that, in many cases, have been derived through a series of simplifying assumptions. The pulse-pair-/estimator variance expressions are derived using perturbation analysis under the assumption that perturbations are not excessive
