Abstract
Basic line-frequency power transformer design elements are combined with practical construction, using the advanced materials now available. Size, weight, cost and design elements to obtain the best overall transformer performance are explained in detail. Three-phase transformers and single-phase designs are contrasted to speed more complex evaluation of design problems
