  • Abstract
The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of tyre safety status is established on the basis of analytic hierarchy process (AHP), fuzzy mathematic theory as well as the relevant background knowledge of the problem. The model is employed to make analysis of the comprehensive early-warning rule of tyre safety status monitoring and early warning system. Membership functions of fuzzy evaluation set of tyre safety status are constructed based on the basic variables, such as tyre temperature, tyre pressure, vehicle speed, tyre load and tyre wear. Relative weight of all evaluation criteria with regard to the objectives are computed by AHP. The safety status of tyre could be given by the proposed fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of tyre safety status is embedded in the tyre safety status monitoring and early warning system, which could improve the comprehensive early-warning capability. The system could real-time monitor tyre safety status and corresponding measures are given in term of the evaluation result.
