Abstract
To detect and estimate direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signals in a non-cooperative scene, an novel algorithm based on the self organizing map (SOM) neural network is proposed in this paper. We demonstrate by simulation that this method can indeed well perform the PN sequence detection and estimation under a low signal to noise ratio (SNR), and it is much superior to any other traditional methods.
