Abstract
In this paper, in the context of satellite interfering/emitting source passive geolocation system, a new method of earth surface passive geo-location with TDOA for fixed interfering source is proposed based upon the traditional way. The new method not only could be free from both initial value and iterated operation, but also merely needs to solve a quadratic polynomial to get a result, hence more effective. In the paper, the solution procedure is provided, and case of multiple roots is discussed. A simulation result proves that the new method is able to reduce the computations and the possibility of ambiguous solution.
