Abstract
The well known paired-strips transmission line is solved by the method of moments (MoM) where the expansion functions are defined in infinite domain. The expansion functions obey the physical behavior near the edges of the line and at infinity, and based on impulse functions. We compare our solution to known solution based on conformal mapping and to other efficient MoM solutions, and it is shown that two to four expansion functions are enough for an excellent and fast convergence of the solution.
