Abstract
A solution to reduce the spectral growth generated from a high rate Bi Phase code modulated radar pulses is presented. The method does not require any amplitude power back off technique that reduces the efficiency of the saturated high power transmitters used for transmitting the radar pulses. This new method of reducing the spectral growth with out affecting the pulse compression performance of the peak side lobe ratio - PSLR, is presented and it was analyzed and tested.
