Abstract
The problem of finding the extension of a well established connection between the sign and stability of the equilibrium in positive linear systems to a class of positive nonlinear systems is addressed. Sufficient conditions have been obtained by applying well-known results in the stability theory as the Matrosov´s comparison principle (1987) and the Lyapunov vector function method
