Abstract
The technology of chaos spectra reduction was used to reduce line spectra in the radiated noise of submarines. Actuators are key elements of active isolation system. This article used giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA) in active vibration isolation system to reduce the line spectra of the radiated noise. Firstly, the model of the vibration isolation system (VIS) applying GMA was established. Secondly, the GMA´s parameters were driven by the external chaotic circuit according to the principle of chaos synchronization. Finally, the vibration isolation system keep persistent chaotic state in order to achieve effective isolation of the line spectrum.
