Abstract
The positioning technologies focused on the location-based service (LBS) are introduced in this paper, an assisted global positioning system (AGPS) positioning algorithm based on the secure user plane location (SUPL) is proposed. The proposed algorithm uses the mobile communication network to integrate the positioning data, and the positioning information can be got promptly even the quality of the satellite signal is not well. Simulations about the proposed algorithm indicate that the time to first fix (TTFF) is about 2-3 seconds, and the average single-point positioning error is within 3 meters. The mixed positioning system has greatly increased the rate of successful positioning, and improved the performance of overall positioning system.
