Abstract
One of the main advantages of meshless methods is their flexibility in allowing nodes to move or be moved from one place to another. In this paper the authors present an implementation of the meshless local Petrov-Galerkin method to model a 2D electromagnetic problem with a moving structure. The method does not require any algorithms to connect the moving domain to the stationary one, as in the finite element method.
