Abstract
The linear systems to be discussed in this paper are described by state-space models. A new sufficient condition is derived from a general framework for the considered system maintaining asymptotic stability in spite of existence of constant structured uncertainty. The problem is solved on a computer by using a numerical optimization program. Some examples are employed to show that the results of stability robustness analysis and synthesis based on the new sufficient condition could be less conservative than those of existing methods in the literature.
