Abstract
In order to model rock mass fracturing and destabilizing along various structural planes, in this paper, a cellular automata (CA) model is set up, and a CA evolution algorithm mainly considering energy propagation is developed. A computing program is put forward on Matlab, the evolution process of rock structural plane fracturing and destabilizing is studied, which shows the complexity of rock structural plane destabilizing process.
