  • Abstract
    Recently, much attention is paid on P2P models in emerging fields, including information sharing, information transfer in wireless environment, and collaborative operating system beyond the traditional file sharing capabilities. In this paper, we propose a new P2P simulator to evaluate and compare these P2P models. We first show the architecture of our P2P simulator, and describe its features. Our simulator has the following advantages: (1) flexible definition of peers and routing policies; (2) definition of simulation scenarios; and (3) scalability of simulator. Secondly, we numerically show connectivity features of two ad hoc networks generated by practical scenarios with the simulator. We´ve derived the power law on connectivity among peers starting from initial network settings of multiple segments and reflectors. Here we employ YELL service as a signaling between peers provided in our P2P middleware ´Peer Alliance´.
