Abstract
At first, this paper reviews the development of the protein secondary structure prediction. Some concerned secondary structure prediction methods are introduced. Then we propose a novel method to predict protein secondary structure , which substantially improves the prediction accuracy both over 80% in CB513 and RS126 database. At the end, we point out some possible trends in the protein secondary structure prediction in the future.
