Abstract
There are many questions based on the power line communication, such as the quick signal decline, the line impedance fluctuate frequently. These questions make it difficult to communicate by the power line, but it can provide the solution using the power line modem PL2000A. Medium voltage (MV) carrier communication project based on embedded system and spread spectrum technology is proposed in this paper. The whole architecture of MV power line carrier communication system is presented in this paper with the emphasis on the application interface of the embedded system and the power line communication with PL2000A are introduced, the design principle based on the power line communication is analyzed, the interface of relative circuits and part of program are given. The proposed MV spread spectrum carrier communication system has been used in various distribution network automatic systems. Field tests show that the system is an economical and feasible communication means.
