Abstract
We propose to fabricate a toroidal cryogenic current comparator from high-temperature superconducting (HTS) materials. The symmetry of our intended design allows high accuracy to be achieved even in the presence of discontinuous shielding. Initial efforts in the fabrication of YBCO (YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7/) components are promising.
