Abstract
In 1994 a new method of impregnating electrical windings developed by HERBERTS was introduced in the market. This paper presents a new technique, which is called the Electrical/UV Process. It will offer a wide range of benefits in comparison with conventional impregnating systems. It combines elegant technology with reduced plant and process costs and is environmentally friendly. This new process can be realised with the new range of UV curable, one component resins from HERBERTS
