Abstract
We generate broadband nonlinear-dispersive similaritons of up to 75 THz FWHM bandwidth (160 nm at 800 nm central wavelength) in LMA-5 single-mode photonic crystal fiber, and compress them to 15 fs using a hybrid grating-prism dispersive delay line. We numerically and experimentally show the large tunability of third-order dispersion of such a hybrid dispersive delay line.
