  • Abstract
    As the use of small portable and mobile computing devices increases, ad hoc networks have become an increasingly popular topic of research and development activities. Cross-layer design and power conservation are two new technologies in this area. Both of them can make the ad hoc network more robust and more adaptive. The relation between them is improvable. A power control based cross-layer architecture is presented.
