Abstract
We investigate the problem of interaction of periodic body acceleration with a viscoelastic Rivlin Erickson fluid as an unsteady initial problem. The exact solutions for the velocity, fluid acceleration, shear stress and volume flow rate have been obtained using the transform method. Numerical computations have been carried out to discuss their behaviour for different parameters based on the available physiological data
