Abstract
In many cases after application of a constant electric field to dielectrics, a decrease of dark current with time is observed and this current decreases for minutes, hours and days. Mathematical analysis of this situation can be made on the basis of Thomson´s idea. It was proposed to use the principle of “attenuated” memory for the mathematical formalization of the process of current change with time. An attempt to introduce the dependence of recombination coefficient on time was made
