Abstract
The paper describes the development of the adaptable symmetrical condensed TLM node (ASCN). The node exploits the opposing contributions to dispersion of stubs and link lines to minimize numerical errors. It is shown that this approach is effective and can be used to optimize nodal properties according to problem requirements.
