  • Abstract
Along with the rapid development of electronic commerce and the increasing Internet users, the market of electronic auction has expanded. However, online auction centers remain to be an insecure environment and the bidderspsila identities and private information may still be under threat by malicious hackers. To consider account security, among the main rules of online electronic auction is that the userspsila anonymity and bid cannot be retracted for any reason This study covers the English auction protocol. The proposed scheme is reliable and improves the electronic auction scheme by the Diffie-Hellman key exchange in achieving mutual authentication between the bidder and the auction center. Moreover, the proposed scheme uses convertible authenticated encryption to protect the communication during any transaction. The new electronic auction scheme also enhances the secure properties of the electronic auction scheme, making it more efficient and reliable.
