Abstract
Images fusion using the wavelet approach provides a conceptual framework for the improvement of the spatial resolution with minimal distortion of the spectral content of the source image. A method based on regularized rule is presented to fuse the coefficients of two source images in every level of wavelet transform. The frequency band of decomposition coefficients is also discussed, and a simple way to reconstructed wavelet based on circular convolution is proposed to solve the image boundary effect. As a result ,the fused image is less distort than each source image.
