Abstract
The scattered far fields of an arbitrarily shaped 3D body can be expressed as a superposition of spherical waves. The distinctive coefficients contain the target´s signatures and may be employed as a feature vector for target identification. This paper addresses the extraction method of the wave coefficients and the identification scheme by using the proposed feature vector.
