Abstract

Business to business e-commerce is developing rapidly in China. However the collaboration is normally done manually. As a result, the information exchange is not timely and the collaboration is not as efficient as expected. On the basis of the order decomposition analysis in virtual manufacturing enterprise, an electronic collaboration mechanism is proposed and a related platform is introduced to enable such collaboration. The architecture of this platform is presented and the prototype is demonstrated.
