Abstract
Full-wave modeling of waveguide dividers with rounded corners is presented. The rounded corner is modeled by means of step approximation. The divider is decomposed into a cascade connection of two types of building blocks whose generalized scattering matrices are obtained by mode-matching method. The overall generalized scattering matrix is obtained by cascading procedure. A WR28-band divider-type E-plane diplexer with inductive-window channel filters is designed. Measured results agree well with computed results.
