  • Abstract
    Secret image sharing scheme should be able to reveal the secret image when some shadows are lost, and the generated shadows should be embedded into meaningful cover images not to attract the intruder´s attention. This article first proposes a novel image sharing scheme based on Error Correcting Codes. The scheme can recover the secret image reversibly by utilizing the error correcting ability of Error Correcting Codes when some shadows are lost, and won´t attract the attacker´s attention by embedding the shadows into ordinary cover images. The computation of the proposed scheme is less than most other schemes, and the secret image can be shared and recovered quickly. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme is feasible and effective.
