Abstract
In this paper, we conduct a new outage analysis for decode-and-forward (DF) two-way half-duplex relaying with asymmetric traffics. Starting from the description of outage capacity and outage probability, we present a definition of outage event by jointly considering outage events at the two senders. Then, we derive the closed-form outage probability expressions for a conventional three-node DF two-way relaying network in frequency-nonselective Rayleigh fading channels, where the derived exact expressions are applicable to all traffics, rate and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) values and link gains. Numerical and Monte Carlo simulation experiments are done. Our results show that for some specific traffics the performance measure of outage probability is only determined by one-way channel. Moreover, our results validate the accuracy of the derived closed-form expressions and the propositions.
