Abstract
This paper aims to highlight the significance of the risk management in coal mines and identify the expositions of risk management and risk analysis for hazards. Flooding accident is one of the five natural disasters in coal mines which have caused social and economic benefits of the huge losses. Therefore, authors have presented the Kenbo Mining flooding accident as the case study to analyze the risk of it. On account of the characteristics of the hazard, the risk management model and precautions were proposed.
