Abstract
In order to study the basic characteristics of maize signals, maize signal was decomposed through coif3 wavelet at 5 scales, de-noised and reconstructed. Then, power spectrum of the reconstructed signal was analyzed by Fast Fourier transform (FFT).The result showed that the strength of maize electrical signal was µV level and the distribution of frequency was below 2Hz. The 60% of the total energy in power spectrum of the signal was below 0.4Hz.
