Abstract
A computer-aided design procedure is proposed for improving the efficiency of the moment´s method analysis of planar structures, such as microstrip circuits and layered low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC). The procedure, based on the interpolation of the impedance matrix elements, obtained from a suitably separated closed-form Green´s function, allows one to obtain a very wide-band frequency response (e.g. 2-12 GHz) by the evaluation of very few (typically three) impedance matrices. An example of application is provided for the case of an LTCC structure.
