Abstract
Abnormal positioning bias were found through the analysis to positioning algorithm in assisted global positioning system (AGPS) with mobile station (MS) clock error. This bias is engendered in the process of calculating the pseudo-range. The translation number of whole chips is determined which is referred to the satellite of maximum angle of elevation relative to the base station (BS). Using this method, the abnormal positioning bias of several hundred kilometers was eliminated.
