Abstract
We investigate the performance modelling of a packet routing server (PRS) architecture using the dynamic synchronous transfer mode (DTM) technology via simulation and the derivation of analytical models for the system´s throughput, average queuing delay, and average queue length. Our results demonstrate that our analytical models achieve a good approximation in comparison with the simulation results
