Abstract
A novel technique for design of microwave equalizer-the aperture-backed technique is presented in this paper. The characteristics of the resonance branch with Aperture-Backed Technique or not are analyzed, and the effects of Aperture-Backed on resonance branch also are studied in this paper. For the further application of this technique, an analysis of single resonator branch with both resistance and aperture loading is necessary. By the analysis above, this technique can improve the equalize net, and provide a novel choice for the design of microwave equalizer.
